The following is issued on behalf of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong:
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong announced today (March 1) results of the Registration Examination for pharmacists held in December, 2005.
There were 41 candidates sitting for the Examination in 䩕Pharmacy Legislation in Hong Kong蒅, 41 for 䩕Pharmacy Practice蒅 and 38 for䩕Pharmacology蒅 with corresponding passing rates of 58.5%, 63.4% and 78.9%.
Apart from meeting other requirements prescribed by the board, any pharmacy graduate outside Hong Kong intending to be registered as a pharmacist in Hong Kong is required to pass the three subjects.
The board conducts its Registration Examination twice a year, normally in June and December.
