Renovation works for the Ngau Chi Wan Public Library on 5-6/F, Ngau Chi Wan Municipal Services Building, 11 Clear Water Bay Road, Kowloon, would begin next Wednesday (March 1) to provide better library facilities and services, a spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (February 22).
The library facilities and environment will be upgraded to include a Multimedia Library and a Computer and Information Centre.
The project will be completed by the end of 2006 in phases.
People are reminded that the zones under renovation will be temporarily closed while library services in the affected areas will be moved to other parts of the library. Other services in the library remain unchanged.
