Opening hours of Leisure and Cultural Services Department cultural venues during Lunar New Year

    The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announces the opening hours of its cultural venues during the Lunar New Year period:

January 28 (Lunar New Year's Eve)
-------------------------------------

     Hong Kong Coliseum, Queen Elizabeth Stadium and Tsuen Wan Town Hall will open as usual.

     Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, Ko Shan Theatre, Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre, Sheung Wan Civic Centre, Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre, North District Town Hall,  Kwai Tsing Theatre, Tuen Mun Town Hall, Yuen Long Theatre and their URBTIX outlets will close at 5.30pm.
 
January 29 (1st day of Lunar New Year)
------------------------------------------

     Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Coliseum and Queen Elizabeth Stadium will open as usual.

     The Marriage Registry at High Block of the Hong Kong City Hall will open from 9am to 5.30pm while the Recital Hall at High Block will open from 4.15pm to 6.15pm. Other facilities at High Block and Low Block including the URBTIX outlet will close for the whole day.
 
     Yuen Long Theatre will open from 6pm to 10pm and its URBTIX outlet will open from 6pm to 9.30pm.

     Other venues will be closed.

January 30 (2nd day of Lunar New Year)
------------------------------------------

     Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Coliseum and Queen Elizabeth Stadium will open as usual.

     Hong Kong City Hall Low Block and its URBTIX outlet will open as usual while High Block will close for the whole day.

     Other venues will be closed.

January 31 (3rd day of Lunar New Year)
------------------------------------------

     Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, Hong Kong Coliseum and Queen Elizabeth Stadium will open as usual.

     Hong Kong City Hall Low Block and its URBTIX outlet will open as usual while High Block will close for the whole day.

     Ko Shan Theatre, Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre and Sheung Wan Civic Centre will be closed, but their URBTIX outlets will provide services from 10am to 6.30pm.

     Sha Tin Town Hall will open from 2pm to 11pm and its URBTIX outlet will open from 2pm to 9.30pm. Kwai Tsing Theatre will open from 6pm to 11pm and its URBTIX outlet will open from 6pm to 9.30pm.

     Other venues will be closed.

February 1 (4th day of Lunar New Year)
------------------------------------------

     All venues will resume normal opening hours.


     URBTIX reservation hotline 2734 9009 will maintain normal service (10am to 8pm) during the period from January 28 to February 1.
