Opening hours of all public libraries on the day preceding Lunar New Year's day (January 28) will be the same as those for public holidays except the libraries on Lamma Island, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department says. North Lamma Public Library will close at 1pm, while South Lamma Public Library will be closed all day.
All public libraries, mobile libraries and students' study rooms will be closed during the Lunar New Year public holidays from January 29 to 31. Hiring facilities including Lecture Theatre, Activity Rooms and Exhibition Gallery in the Hong Kong Central Library will also be closed from January 29 to 31.
Readers are reminded to return or renew the library materials on or before the due dates.
