Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of two children who were found abandoned in Tai Po last month.
About 9.25am on December 17, 2005, a security guard found a girl aged about 14 and a boy, about 12, in wheelchairs inside a sitting out area of Po Nga Court, Tai Po Tai Wo Road. A report was then made to Police.
The girl was wearing a pink jacket, red sports trousers and blue and white training shoes while the boy was wearing a brown and white jacket, grey sport trousers and white sport shoes when they were found. Neither of them can walk and both have communication problems.
Police urge the relatives of the children or anyone who has information to contact the investigating officers of Tai Po Police Station on 2660 3252 or 2660 3256.
