Police today (December 28) charged three illegal immigrants (IIs), aged between 25 and 29, each with one count of illegal entry into Hong Kong and one count of possession of offensive weapons.
They were arrested inside an abandoned hut in Jat﷿s Incline, Tsz Wan Shan in an anti-II and crime operation conducted by officers of Patrol Sub-unit, Wong Tai Sin yesterday.
Eight knives and some suspected stolen properties worth about $10,000 from the three arrested IIs were seized.
The IIs were charged each with one count of illegal entry into Hong Kong and one count of possession of offensive weapons today and will appear in Kwun Tong Magistrates﷿ Courts tomorrow (December 29).
