SHA deeply saddened by passing of the Most Venerable Wing Sing

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, today (May 6) expressed deep condolences on the passing of the Most Venerable Wing Sing, the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association.
Mr Lau said, "The Most Venerable Wing Sing was gracious and benevolent, and dedicated his life to Buddhism. He founded the Western Monastery and the Hong Kong Bodhi Siksa Society to unite the Buddhist community. He also made tremendous contributions by actively promoting the Buddhist charities in Hong Kong. He will always be remembered."
