Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan this afternoon (April 22) in which a 57-year-old man was killed.
At about 4.17pm, a private car driven by a 47-year-old man and a taxi driven by the 57-year-old man was travelling in sequence along northbound Tan Nan West Street. When approaching near Cheung Yue Street, the two vehicles reportedly collided.
Sustaining no superficial injury, the 57-year-old man was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 5.35pm.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, is underway.
