CE meets Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government (with photo)

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the Mayor of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, Mr Xu Qin, at Government House this afternoon (February 29) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung welcomed Mr Xu on his visit to Hong Kong to chair the Hong Kong/Shenzhen Co-operation Meeting. He noted that both places have been working closely in various areas and, at the Meeting this morning, the two governments confirmed the directions for co-operation for next year. He said he hoped that both sides would continue to strengthen ties on all fronts to promote economic development for mutual benefit.
