"Fusion" sculpture exhibition opens at Trade and Industry Tower (with photo)
**********************************************************

The "Fusion" sculpture exhibition opened today (December 18) at the Trade and Industry Tower (TI Tower), where it will run until December 16 next year. The exhibition aims to offer TI Tower users and local residents a new perspective on art through the display of sculptures by local artists. Admission is free.

Co-organised by the Art Promotion Office and the Hong Kong Sculpture, the exhibition is a pilot project under the "Art Display @ TI Tower" programme, and will showcase sculptures created by 14 local artists. The works focus on the dynamic beauty of nature, encouraging viewers to moderate the hectic pace of life and ponder the harmony between humans and nature.

Situated in the Kai Tak Development Area, the TI Tower was officially opened in October last year. It is the first government building built with space dedicated to the display of art. An exhibition area of about 200 square metres on the first floor is available for local artists and those engaged in creative work to present their works.

TI Tower is located at 3 Concorde Road, Kowloon. It is open from 9am to 6pm on weekdays, from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

For details of the exhibition, please call 2512 3017 or 2512 3035.
