Fatal traffic accident in Tai Po

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tai Po this morning (November 22) in which a 34-year-old man was killed.
 
     At about 9.44am, three motorcycles, driven by a 34-year-old man, a 46-year-old man and a 48-year-old man respectively, were travelling along Bride¡¯s Pool Road towards Wu Kau Tang. When approaching Hsien Ku Fung, the motorcycle driven by the 34-year-old man reportedly had a head-on collision with a coach driven by a 60-year-old man travelling in the opposite direction. After the impact, the two following motorcycles also lost control.
 
     Sustaining serious leg injuries, the 34-year-old man was rushed to the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.48am.

   The 46-year-old man and the 48-year-old man sustained slight injuries. They were sent to North District Hospital and Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital respectively.
      
     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
