Haverland theatre group's "Light Change" to complete night trilogy
***********************************************************

Local theatre group Haverland will stage its new production, "Light Change" in December, as one of the programmes of the New Energy Series presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

"Light Change" is Haverland's third work on the theme of night, following "A Missing Story" and "White Night". It is directed and performed by Tsoi Wan-wa and also stars Chen Ying-ching, Larry Ng and Chan Yin-chung.

Night is a beginning but also an end. In this performance, four talented performers of different backgrounds make use of drama, puppetry, masks and movement and use them to travel along the rift of consciousness - from dream to reality and chaos to tranquility.

Haverland was founded in 2010 by Tsoi Wan-wa and Chan Yin-chung, who work as its artistic directors. Prizing itself as a creative unit, Haverland treasures a platform for open exchanges that unleash creative power. Comprising artists of various talents, the group seeks to plant the seeds of "human sentiment and stories" through a devotion to arts and caring works.

"Light Change" (in Cantonese) will be performed at 8pm from December 11 to 13 (Friday to Sunday) and at 3pm on December 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Black Box Theatre of Kwai Tsing Theatre. Tickets priced at $160 (free seating) are now available at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). For telephone credit card bookings, please call 2111 5999. For programme enquiries and concessionary schemes, please call 2268 7325 or visit www.lcsd.gov.hk/CE/CulturalService/Programme/en/theatre/program_997.html.

Highlights of the New Energy Series also include Chuang Dian Theatre's "Caesar" (December 4 to 6) and Artocrite Theater's "Bad Time Stories" (December 18 to 20).
