The spokesperson for Kowloon East Cluster (KEC) today (October 20) announced that the Tseung Kwan O (Po Ning Road) General Out-patient Clinic in G/F, 28 Po Ning Road, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O will resume service on October 26 (Monday) upon completion of renovation works.
"The renovation works include the redesign of the clinic layout and the provision of barrier-free facilities. Following the renovation, the environment of the waiting area in the clinic will be improved. More importantly, the patient flow would be further streamlined," the spokesman said.
The service hours of the clinic remain unchanged (from 9am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 10pm from Mondays to Fridays and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays). Patients with chronic illnesses or requiring wound care have already been informed and arrangements made for them to attend follow-up appointments at Tseung Kwan O (Po Ning Road) General Out-patient Clinic as shown in the appointment slip. Patients with episodic illnesses are advised to make appointment through the Telephone Appointment System (Telephone number: 3157 0660).
The renovation works of the clinic started on December 1, 2014. "The KEC has already informed the residents in the district of the service arrangement through various channels, including posting notices outside the clinic being renovated and at prominent locations of the relocated clinic (Ground floor of the Ambulatory Care Block in Tseung Kwan O Hospital), and arranged briefings for respective district councillors. A reminder message will also be added to the Telephone Appointment System," the spokesperson added.
