About 3 000 vacancies on offer at Opening Up a New Terrain - Sino-HK Enterprises Job Expo
************************************************************

The Labour Department, together with the Hong Kong China Enterprises Association, will hold a large-scale job fair for Mainland and Hong Kong enterprises at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai on October 7 and 8, 2015.

A total of 40 well-known enterprises from the Mainland and Hong Kong will participate at the fair. These companies operate various trades and businesses including banking and finance, communications, aviation, construction, property management, retail and catering.

The vacancies offered cover a wide variety of positions such as manager, management trainee, human resources officer, clerk, customer contact representative, civil engineer, electrical and mechanical engineer, technician, accountant and programme analyst. Job seekers can find more information on the department's Interactive Employment Service website (www.jobs.gov.hk).

Most of the vacancies are full-time jobs. A large proportion of vacancies require secondary education level or above, or less than two years relevant experience, and many are suitable for young job seekers with post-secondary education.

Job seekers may bring their resumés and submit applications on the spot. They may also be selected for on-site interviews. There will also be an exhibition area to introduce employment information on the Mainland and employment services provided by the Labour Department.

The job fair will run from 11am to 5.30pm at 1/F, Southorn Stadium, 111 Johnston Road, Wan Chai (MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A3). Admission is free.
