Police will implement special traffic arrangements on December 26 (Friday) to facilitate a running event on Ap Lei Chau.
Traffic lanes on the following road sections will be intermittently closed from 5.30am to 11am.
- The slow lane of westbound Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road from a point about 100 metres west of its junction with Ap Lei Chau Drive to its junction with Lee Nam Road;
- The slip road of westbound Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road leading to southbound Lee Nam Road;
- Part of traffic lane of northbound Lee Nam Road near Ap Lei Chau Preliminary Treatment Works; and
- Part of traffic lane of northbound Lee Nam Road between the Lee Nam Road roundabout and its junction with Lee Wing Street.
Any vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct of the above areas will be towed away without prior notice.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic condition in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
