Police are investigating a murder case in Mong Kok in which a 15-year-old girl was killed.
At about 8.38am today (December 9), Police received a report that a suspected female body was found inside a nylon bag in a refuse collection point on Portland Street in Mong Kok.
Police officers sped to the scene and found a female body with neck injuries inside the nylon bag.
Upon investigation, Police arrested a 34-year-old man in a unit in Mong Kok for murder. He is being detained for enquiries.
Initial investigations revealed that the girl was killed inside the unit yesterday.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Active investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are under way.
