Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tin Sum this morning (April 26) in which a 66¡ªyear-old man died.
About 5.10am, a taxi driven by the 66-year-old man with three passengers on board was travelling along Tai Chung Kiu Road towards Tai Wai. When approaching near Jat Min Chuen, it reportedly rammed into water barriers on the roadside.
After the impact, the driver was found unconscious inside the compartment. He was rushed to Princess Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.11am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
