Posters recall silver screen's golden era

Six larger-than-life movie posters that veteran artisan Chow Keung carefully crafted are at the centre of a Hong Kong Film Archive exhibition that recalls the silver screen's golden years in the city.
It also features memorabilia that includes handbills, hand-drawn seating charts, weight scales and photographs of Hong Kong's grand old theatres.
News.gov.hk spoke with archive programmer Cecilia Wong, who hopes the exhibit will stir up seniors' recollections and help younger people appreciate the cinematic experience. The feature appears on news.gov.hk today (February 9) in both text and video format.
