Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sha Tin this afternoon (December 27) in which a 61-year-old man died.
About 3.18pm, a 61-year-old man was pushing a light goods vehicle (LGV) next to its driver seat on Pak Lok Path. The LGV reportedly moved forward towards Tung Lo Wan Hill Road, leaving the LGV driver trapped between the LGV door and the wall on the right side.
Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.05pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
