The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will organise three regional forums this month and in December to collect public views on the 2014 Policy Address and the 2014-15 Budget.
The first forum will be held this Sunday (November 24) from 2.30pm to 4pm at Sha Tin Government Secondary School, 11-17 Man Lai Road, Sha Tin. The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung; the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan; the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung; and the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will attend the forum.
In order to gauge more opinions from a wider spectrum, apart from inviting District Council members and personalities from district advisory bodies to the three forums, seats will also be reserved for members of the public.
As there are limited seats in the venue, admission tickets for members of the public will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Subject to site circumstances, the tickets will be distributed around 9am on Sunday outside the school. The forum will be conducted in Cantonese.
Details of the other two forums will be announced later.
