Australia's Terrapin Puppet Theatre to perform a journey with courage and challenges
*********************************************************

Australia's premier contemporary puppet theatre, Terrapin Puppet Theatre, will perform the lyrical and lively tale "Sleeping Horses Lie" in January.

The story follows Sally Saber, who dreams of being sharp and fearless as a tiger, but her parents always protect her so she never knows what it's like to be afraid. Then one night Sally finds she is the only one awake at home, and suddenly everything looks very strange. Through Sally's fantastic adventures, Terrapin Puppet Theatre reveals the power of the imagination and its ability to unlock the hero in all of us.

Established in 1981, Terrapin Puppet Theatre embraces new technology while also retaining the ancient arts of puppetry. In this play the company inspires the audience by encouraging them to express the power of their collective imagination through inventive play with the objects and devices that surround them. Acclaimed throughout Australia, Terrapin Puppet Theatre also tours internationally and has enjoyed critical acclaim from audiences around the world.
