Mariculturists of Lo Tik Wan fish culture zone to register claims for ex-gratia allowance

     Mariculturists of the Lo Tik Wan fish culture zone whose business would be affected by the planned marine works project "Providing Sufficient Water Depth for Kwai Tsing Container Basin and its Approach Channel" are eligible to register claims for a one-off ex-gratia allowance.

     The project was approved by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council on July 5, 2013. An Inter-departmental Working Group (IWG) comprising representatives from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, the Lands Department, the Home Affairs Department and relevant works departments has been set up to follow up on the arrangement. The mariculturists concerned have been informed individually of the registration arrangements as below:

Date and time: 10am to 12.30pm on August 30 (Friday)

Venue: Aberdeen Fisheries Offices, 100A Shek Pai Wan Road, Aberdeen
