Police are investigating a traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok this afternoon (July 29) in which a 56-year-old man died.
At about 3.46pm, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling into a waste recycling yard on Sung Wong Toi Road and reportedly knocked down the 56-year-old man who was working there.
Sustaining chest and back injuries, the man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.24pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Kowloon East are underway.
