The Education Bureau (EDB) today (July 26) reminded students who have completed online enrollment and on-site verification for the Scheme for Admission of Hong Kong Students to Mainland Higher Education Institutions that they should log on to the designated website during the designated period from July 31 to August 12 to check the admission results as well as submit and check the results of supplementary enrollment.
Students who have completed online enrollment and on-site verification should, from July 31 to August 6, log on to the admission system at the website of the Co-Office of the Mainland Chinese Universities and Colleges of P.R. China for the Joint Examinations and Enrolment of the Students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese-Resident Areas and Countries (Joint Enrolment Office) (www.ecogd.edu.cn) by clicking on "Hong Kong Students Application" under the menu "Joint Admission" using their candidate numbers, so as to check whether they have been admitted by the institutions they have enrolled in. Institutions will release first round admission results by batches in order of priority as follows:
1. release of first priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on July 31
2. release of second priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on August 3
3. release of third priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on August 5
4. release of fourth priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on August 6
Students who are not admitted during the first round but meet the minimum entrance requirements should complete supplementary enrollment through the admission system from August 9 (00:00) to August 10 (before 4pm). Students can choose two institutions and for each institution four programme choices during the supplementary enrollment stage. Students who have completed supplementary enrollment can log on to the admission system from August 11 to 12 to check whether they have been admitted by the institutions they have enrolled in. Institutions will release supplementary enrolment results by batches in order of priority as follows:
1. release of first priority supplementary enrollment results by institutions - 6pm on August 11
2. release of second priority supplementary enrollment results by institutions - 6pm on August 12
Students who have been admitted during the first round or supplementary enrollment stage should receive an acceptance letter from their respective institutions by post before the end of August. Students who have not received the acceptance letter by end August can contact the relevant institution directly for enquiry.
