Appointment to the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants

     The Government announced today (June 28) that the Chief Executive has re-appointed Dr Moses Cheng Mo-chi as Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants for a term of two years from July 14, 2013 to July 13, 2015, and appointed Professor Chan Yuk-shee, Mr Francis Mok Gar-lon and Miss Melissa Wu as Members of the Advisory Committee for a term of two years from July 14, 2013 to July 13, 2015.

     The Chief Executive has also re-appointed Mr Vincent Cheng Hoi-chuen, Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Mr Lee Ming-kwai and Mr Vincent Lo Wing-sang as Members of the Advisory Committee for a term of two years from September 1, 2013 to August 31, 2015.

     The Government expressed its sincere appreciation to the three retiring Members of the Advisory Committee, Mr Nicky Lo Kar-chun, Ms Marina Wong Yu-pok and Mr Yeung Ka-sing, for their invaluable contributions to the work of the Advisory Committee.

     The Advisory Committee advises the Government on matters relating to the post-service employment of civil servants. Another serving member of the Advisory Committee is Mrs Jean Au Yeung Lui Miu-kwan. Its secretariat support is provided by the Joint Secretariat for the Advisory Bodies on Civil Service and Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service.
