The President of the Legislative Council, Mr Jasper Tsang, continued the fourth day of his visit to London, the United Kingdom (UK) yesterday (June 13, London time).
Mr Tsang began the day by meeting with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Mr Mark Simmonds, to discuss issues relating to the latest development of Hong Kong and Hong Kong-UK relationship.
Mr Tsang then attended a luncheon held by the Hong Kong Association in London. At the luncheon, Mr Tsang exchanged views on Hong Kong's latest development with the British political and business leaders who have had long-standing connections with Hong Kong. In the evening, Mr Tsang spoke at the London School of Economics and Political Science on universal suffrage in Hong Kong.
Before concluding his visit to London today (June 14, London time), Mr Tsang will pay a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the United Kingdom, Mr Liu Xiaoming, and meet with representatives of overseas Chinese in UK.
