Hongkong Post today (April 15) announced its collaboration with social enterprises that are ShopThruPost merchants under Fair Trade Hong Kong Foundation Limited for a promotion fair being held at the General Post Office in Central.
The event is the first of its kind to be held in the post office. People visiting the post office for postal services will be able to take advantage of the occasion to get a new feel for the post office with products that promote fair and ethical consumption. Some of these products will also be available at the Hongkong Post online shopping mall ShopThruPost (www.shopthrupost.hk) starting from mid-April for customers who prefer shopping online.
Fair Trade Hong Kong Foundation Limited has been organising the annual function Fair Trade Fortnight in recent years. The promotion fair is part of this year's Fair Trade Fortnight event. Hongkong Post is pleased to participate in this meaningful event to support community betterment. The information of the promotion fair is as follows:
Dates: April 15 to 18 and April 22 to 25
Time: 11am to 3pm
Venue: East side of the public hall at 1/F, General Post Office
Products available: Fair trade products (tea bags, snacks, coffee, etc)
Members of the public are also invited to visit the General Post Office during the fair to explore Hongkong Post's collections of postal souvenirs.
