The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, will visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen tomorrow (February 6) to call on major leaders of the Guangdong Provincial Government and the Shenzhen Municipal Government.
The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan; the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So; the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam; the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok; the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Edward Yau; the Director of Information Services, Mr Michael Wong; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Carlson Chan; the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping; and the Assistant Director (Media), Mr Nick Au Yeung.
Mr Leung will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on the same day. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will be the acting Chief Executive.
