Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan today (January 31) in which a 63-year-old man was killed.
At about 6.20pm today, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 63-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road, Kowloon bound. When reaching near Sea Crest Villa, it reportedly rammed into some water barriers and a roadwork then fell into a pit in the roadwork.
Sustaining multiple body injuries, the MGV driver was rushed to the Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 7.31pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigations Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
