The "Concert in the Park Goes to HKCC Piazza" will be held on Sunday (December 9) from 1.30pm to 7pm at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, featuring live musical performances by various Filipino bands and singers. Admission is free.
This year the concert's theme is "Generations". Eleven Filipino groups will perform including the Hong Kong-based Lahing Kayumanggi Band featuring Adrian Pineda, Justin Bedana and Joshua Salcedo, while the popular group Draybers has come all the way from the Philippines. The music and songs will appeal to people of all generations. In addition, DJs Michael Vincent Benares, Jun Paragas and Jay Martinez will act as programme hosts.
The names of the performing groups are as follows:

* Boys in the Band with Jun Cortes
* Draybers
* Lahing Kayumanggi Band
* Mike Inot-Retro Groovers
* Rapunzel
* Suspects
* The Collaboration Crew
* The Doo Dah's
* Toughcoldrice
* The League of Gentlemen
Jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and the Consulate General of the Philippines, and in co-operation with the Hong Kong Musicians Union, the "Concert in the Park Goes to HKCC Piazza" aims to promote cultural exchange between the Filipino community and local people.
