Police are investigating a murder case in Wong Tai Sin in the small hours of today (November 30), in which an 84-year-old man was killed.
About 0.15am, Police received a report from a 49-year-old woman alleging that she had earlier killed her husband at a unit in Ching Tai House, Tsz Ching Estate. The woman claimed that she made the call at a hill slope near Ching Tai House.
Police sped to the scene and found the 84-year-old man lying unconsciously on a bed inside the unit. The man sustained multiple stab and cut wounds to his chest, shoulder and face. He was certified dead by ambulancemen at scene. A knife was seized at scene.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of the death of the deceased.
Police are wanting the woman suspected to be in connection with the case.
Active investigations by District Crime Squad of Wong Tai Sin are underway.
