The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will hold the Community Thematic Carnival "Breezy Sai Kung" at Sai Kung Waterfront Park this Sunday (November 11) from 3pm to 6pm. The event will feature a variety of music and dance performances, with DJ Barry Ip as master of ceremonies, and admission to all programmes is free.
One of the highlights will be hip-hop performances by Japan's famous street dance troupe the Wrecking Crew Orchestra (WCO). In addition to presenting its own dynamic street dance, WCO will also take part in a crossover performance with local hip-hop dancers from The Warehouse Teenage Club. African drum, choir, jazz, saxophone, a cappella, accordion and band show performances by local groups promise to be equally attractive.
A fun garden will also be set up for different activities and attractions such as art jamming, a kids' zone, magic and acrobatics, roving artists, a game booth and an ethnic handicrafts display, as well as music and dance performances to complete the carnival.
