Police today (September 20) appealed for information on a fatal traffic accident in Sha Tin on September 18 in which a 48-year-old man died.
At 10.50am on that day, a motorcycle ridden by a 48-year-old man was travelling along Tolo Highway towards Tai Po. When reaching near the Chinese University of Hong Kong, it reportedly lost control and skidded to another lane.
The motorcyclist fell onto the ground and sustained serious head injuries. He was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and he was certified dead at 12.27pm yesterday (September 19).
The case was taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South for further investigations.
