SCED continues his visit to Vladivostok, Russia (with photos/videos)

     The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, today (September 7) continued his visit to Vladivostok, Russia after attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting.

     In the morning, Mr So had a breakfast meeting with the Minister of Commerce, Mr Chen Deming. Mr So also met with the Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, YB Dato' Sri Mustapa bin Mohamed, and Canada's Minister of International Trade, Mr Ed Fast, to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.

     On behalf of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mr So signed a Free Trade Agreement between Hong Kong and Chile with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, Mr Alfredo Moreno, this afternoon. The President of Chile, Mr Sebastián Piñera, and the Financial Secretary of HKSAR, Mr John C Tsang, witnessed the signing ceremony.

     Mr So will return to Hong Kong tomorrow (September 8).
