Since its opening on July 25, the exhibition "The Majesty of All Under Heaven: The Eternal Realm of China's First Emperor" has received an overwhelming response from the public and has seen more than 90,000 visitors flock to the Hong Kong Museum of History to view the exhibition. Admission tickets for this exhibition are being put on sale in three phases. The second phase of advance tickets covering the exhibition period from September 3 to October 14 will go on sale tomorrow (August 20).
A spokesperson for the Hong Kong Museum of History noted today (August 19) that the exhibition has been well received because it provides a rare opportunity for visitors to take a close look at the national-treasure-grade terracotta warriors. Almost all advance tickets for the first phase covering the exhibition period from July 25 to September 2 have been snapped up, leaving a small quantity of tickets available.
"Those who do not want to miss this extraordinary exhibition should grab the chance provided by the second phase of ticket sales by planning ahead for their visits and buying advance tickets as early as possible. Visitors are also advised to check the availability of tickets on the website of the Hong Kong Museum of History before action," said the spokesperson.
"As the exhibition is open with scheduled viewing sessions and each session lasts for one and a half hours, visitors are urged to arrive on time to view the rich content of the exhibition, which is divided into two sections - the Cultural Relics Display Zone and the Multimedia Experience Zone."
The second phase of advance tickets will be available at all URBTIX outlets and the Hong Kong Museum of History's box office from tomorrow and Internet booking via URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk) and credit card telephone booking (hotline: 2111 5999) will be available starting from Tuesday (August 21).
