The Government announced today (August 3) the re-appointment of Mr Fredric Mao Chun-fai as convenor of the Hong Kong-Taiwan Cultural Co-operation Committee (HKTCCC) for another year from August 1, 2012, to July 31, 2013. The other 10 incumbent members have also been re-appointed.
Established under the Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Co-operation and Promotion Council as the Hong Kong counterpart of the Cultural Co-operation Committee under the Taiwan-Hong Kong Economic and Cultural Co-operation Council in Taiwan on August 1, 2010, the HKTCCC aims to foster exchange, liaison and co-operation between the two places in the development of arts and culture and the creative industries.
