The Ming Ri Institute for Arts Education will present its latest children's puppet theatre production, "The Boy Becomes Rabbit Mama", in June and July.
A little boy runs away from home after quarrelling with his mother. He then becomes the "mother" of three little rabbits. The rabbits grow up, but they gradually come to look down on their unqualified rabbit mama and stop listening to him. What can the little boy do in order to solve the problem?
The performances will be conducted in Cantonese. Details are as follows:

"The Boy Becomes Rabbit Mama" is one of the programmes in the "World Puppetry Series" presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Tickets are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by credit card telephone booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first-come, first-served basis). A maximum discount of 20 per cent is offered for the group booking package.
There will also be a series of lecture talks, "Parenting Workshop on Parent-Child Harmony", regarding harmony between parents and their children. Tickets are priced at $35 and the talks will be conducted in Cantonese. For details, please call 2268 7323.
