The Police will implement special traffic arrangements on January 1, 2012 to facilitate the holding of Hong Kong Dragon and Lion Festival 2012:
(A) Traffic diversion from 12noon to 2pm
1. Traffic along westbound Lambeth Walk must turn left to southbound Murray Road.
(B) Road closures/traffic diversions from 12noon to 4pm
1. A section of Chater Road between Jackson Road and Murray Road will be closed;
2. Club Street will be closed;
3. An un-named slip road next to AIA Central will be closed;
4. Traffic along northbound Jackson Road will not be allowed to turn right to eastbound Chater Road; and
5. Traffic along westbound Connaught Road Central will not be allowed to turn left to Club Street or to an un-named slip road next to AIA Central Tower.
(C) Road closures/traffic diversions from 2pm to 4pm
1. A section of eastbound Des Voeux Road Central between Pedder Street and Murray Road will be closed;
2. A section of northbound Ice House Street between Queen¡¯s Road Central and Des Voeux Road Central will be closed;
3. A section of southbound Murray Road between Harcourt Road and Queensway will be closed;
4. Lambeth Walk, eastbound Queensway, and Justice Drive flyover will be closed;
5. A section of southbound Cotton Tree Drive between the U-turn slip road of southbound Cotton Tree Drive and Queensway will be closed;
6. A section of southbound Tamar Street between Drake Street and Queensway will be closed;
7. A section of Rodney Street between Drake Street and Queensway will be closed;
8. A section of eastbound Hennessy Road between Arsenal Street and Luard Road will be closed;
9. Traffic along eastbound Des Voeux Road Central must turn left to northbound Pedder Street;
10. Traffic along westbound Queen's Road Central will not be allowed to turn right to northbound Ice House Street;
11. Traffic along a section of northbound Ice House Street between Wyndham Street and Queen¡¯s Road Central must turn left to westbound Queen's Road Central;
12. Traffic along westbound Harcourt Road will not be allowed to turn left to Murray Road;
13. Traffic along northbound Cotton Tree Drive will not be allowed to turn left to Lambeth Walk;
14. Traffic along eastbound Garden Road flyover must turn left to northbound Cotton Tree Drive;
15. Traffic along southbound Cotton Tree Drive must make an U-turn to northbound Cotton Tree Drive;
16. Traffic from United Centre Bus Terminus must turn left to westbound Drake Street;
17. Traffic along northbound Justice Drive will not be allowed to enter to Justice Drive flyover and must turn left to westbound Queensway; and
18. Traffic along southbound Fenwick Street will not be allowed to turn left to eastbound Hennessy Road.
(D) Suspension of bus stops, bus terminus and carpark from 2pm to 4pm
1. All bus stops along a section of eastbound Des Voeux Road Central between Pedder Street and Murray Road, a section of northbound Ice House Street between Queen¡¯s Road Central and Des Voeux Road Central, a section of southbound Murray Road between Harcourt Road and Queensway, eastbound Queensway, and a section of eastbound Hennessy Road between Arsenal Street and Luard Road will be suspended;
2. Bus stops and bus terminus along northbound Tamar Street will be suspended;
3. Murray Road Multi-storey Car Park will be suspended; and
4. The entrance and exit of a carpark on Rodney Street will be closed.
