The Immigration Department today (December 30) announced that the bride's room of Sha Tin Marriage Registry will be temporarily closed from April 16 to June 15, 2012 for refurbishment.
"During the period, the Registry will continue to provide normal services, and temporary facilities will be provided to serve the purposes of a bride's room. Apart from using Sha Tin Marriage Registry, marrying parties may also make use of the services provided by the other four marriage registries, namely Tsim Sha Tsui Marriage Registry, City Hall Marriage Registry, Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry and Tuen Mun Marriage Registry," a spokesman for the department said.
