The "Special Topics Report No. 58" on social statistics was published by the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) today (December 30).
The report contains the findings of a special enquiry on "Job-changing of employed persons" which was conducted via the General Household Survey by the C&SD during October to December 2010. This enquiry targeted at persons aged 15 and over who were employed at the time of enumeration and had changed jobs in Hong Kong during the year before enumeration. Information was collected on their socio-economic characteristics, their reasons for leaving the last job and the working conditions in their last job and present job.
The report includes findings of the above enquiry with some 20 statistical tables and charts. Users can download the publication free of charge at the website of the C&SD (www.censtatd.gov.hk/products_and_services/products/publications/statistical_report/social_data/index.jsp).
