The Transport Department (TD) today (December 28) reminded the public that special traffic and transport arrangements would be implemented in Central and Wan Chai District on January 1, 2012 (Sunday) to facilitate the holding of the Dragon and Lion Festival 2012.
Road closures and traffic diversions will be implemented in phases during the event from noon on January 1, 2012 in Central and Wan Chai District. A total of 59 bus routes and eight green minibus routes will also be diverted during the event.
People are advised to make use of public transport, avoid driving to busy areas, watch out for the latest traffic news broadcasts and take heed of advice from the Police.
