To address the overwhelming response to the open days at King Yin Lei mansion, the Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau announced today (April 19) that five additional open days would be arranged on the two weekends from April 30 to May 2 and from May 7 to 8.
All admission tickets for the additional open days will be distributed at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre (HDC), Kowloon Park, Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, from April 23 (Saturday) during opening hours.
Each open day will comprise four sessions: from 9.30am to 11am, 11am to 12.30pm, 2pm to 3.30pm and 3.30pm to 5pm. Each person can obtain a maximum of four tickets for any one session on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 14,000 tickets will be distributed to the public.
There are no parking facilities at King Yin Lei. Members of the public are advised to use public transport to access the venue. Visitors are recommended to view a documentary film on the preservation and restoration of King Yin Kei before the visit, which is available at the heritage conservation website: www.heritage.gov.hk.
