Public hospitals announce the latest Human Swine Influenza cases

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
In response to the influenza situation in Hong Kong, the Hospital Authority (HA), in close collaboration with the Centre for Health Protection, has activated the enhanced monitoring system for severe influenza patients staying in the intensive care units of public hospitals. The HA spokesman today (March 21) said that there has been no new confirmed case of Human Swine Influenza (HSI) over the past 72 hours, from 2pm on March 18 to 2pm on March 21.
As at 2pm today, a total of six influenza patients were staying in the intensive care unit of public hospitals.
