Vacancy in Yuen Long District Council

The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (March 18) that since the office of the Chairman of Ha Tsuen Rural Committee will become vacant on April 1, the office of the ex officio member of the Yuen Long District Council will become vacant on the same date pursuant to section 18 of the District Councils Ordinance (Chapter 547).
Ha Tsuen Rural Committee will meet to elect a new chairman to hold the office.
