Members of the public are welcome to visit a two-day exhibition on the Employment Ordinance and Family-friendly Employment Practices, organised by the Labour Department in Tin Shui Wai starting tomorrow (February 12).
The exhibition will feature the main provisions of the Employment Ordinance, Family-friendly Employment Practices, rights and benefits of foreign domestic helpers, differences between an employee and a self-employed person, as well as the use of written employment contracts. Related publications and souvenirs will be distributed, and a video on Family-friendly Employment Practices will also be shown.
The exhibition will be held at Sales Venue, Ground Floor, Tin Yiu Plaza, Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long, New Territories, from 11am to 6pm, February 12 and 13. Admission is free.
