Police today (January 19) arrested a 33-year-old man suspected to be in connection with a wounding and indecent assault case in Sheung Shui on January 13.
In the morning of January 13, Police received a report that a 12-year-old girl was being assaulted and indecent assaulted in Ching Ho Estate, Sheung Shui. The victim sustained serious head and face injuries.
District Crime Squad of Tai Po took over the case. After in-depth investigations, the Officers identified a targeted suspect and mounted an ambush operation at Ching Ho Estate this morning. A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case.
He is still being detained for further enquiries and investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tai Po are underway.
