Members of the public are welcome to visit a two-day exhibition on the Employment Ordinance and Family-friendly Employment Practices, organised by the Labour Department in Sham Shui Po starting tomorrow (January 20).
The exhibition will feature the main provisions of the Employment Ordinance, Family-friendly Employment Practices, rights and benefits of foreign domestic helpers, differences between an employee and a self-employed person, the use of written employment contracts, and other items. Related publications and souvenirs will be distributed, and a video on Family-Friendly Employment Practices will also be shown.
The exhibition will be held at the Atrium, 1/F, Dragon Centre, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon from 11am to 6pm, January 20 and 21. Admission is free.
