The services provided by Mobile Libraries 6 and 10 will be suspended for designated periods in January for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (January 6).
From January 17 to 22, the following service points of Mobile Library 10 will be affected: Lung Mun Oasis in Tuen Mun, Tin Yuet Estate and Tin Wah Estate in Tin Shui Wai, Kwai Chung Estate in Kwai Tsing, Wah Sum Estate in Fanling and Shuen Wan in Tai Po. To enquire about Mobile Library 10 services, please call 2450 1857.
From January 24 to 29, the following service points of Mobile Library 6 will be affected: Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, Lei Tung Estate and Ap Lei Chau Estate in Ap Lei Chau, Shek O Beach and Fung Tak Estate in Wong Tai Sin. For enquiries about Mobile Library 6 services, please call 2505 4690.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during these service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
