Temporary closure of three of LCSD's leisure facilities

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (December 31) that the artificial turf pitch at Boundary Street Recreation Ground in Yau Tsim Mong District will be temporarily closed for repair works from January 10 to 14, 2011. During the period, the public may use the artificial turf pitch at Cherry Street Park in the same district.     

     The natural turf pitch at Kwai Chung Sports Ground in Kwai Tsing District will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from January 11 to 24, 2011. The running track will remain open. During the period, the public may use the natural turf pitches at Tsing Yi Sports Ground and Wo Yi Hop Road Sports Ground in the same district.

     Meanwhile, the grass soccer pitch at Tsuen Wan Riviera Park in Tsuen Wan District will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from January 19 to February 2, 2011. During the period, the public may use the grass soccer pitch at the nearby Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground.
