The services provided by Mobile Libraries 1 and 8 will be suspended for designated periods during January 2011 for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (December 28).
From January 10 to 17, the following service points of Mobile Library 1 will be affected: Cho Yiu Chuen, Shek Lei Estate, Kwai Shing West Estate, Kwai Shing East Estate and Lai Yiu Estate in Kwai Chung; Riviera Gardens and Sham Tseng in Tsuen Wan, and Cheung On Estate in Tsing Yi. To enquire about Mobile Library 1 services, please call 2414 3157.
From January 10 to 22, the following service points of Mobile Library 8 will be affected: Laguna City in Lam Tin, Hiu Lai Court and Po Tat Estate in Sau Mau Ping, Tai Hang Tung Estate, Laguna Verde in Hung Hom and Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po. For enquiries about Mobile Library 8 services, please call 2926 3055.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during these service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
